Dear Fellow Members,
It is an honor to share this news of a very special Research Fellowship that I helped to set up in Dr. Erel Shalit’s name. Many of you will remember him or his work through his many lectures and books. He was an Israeli Jungian Analyst and my life-partner who died two years ago from cancer. This fellowship is my way of honoring him and his devotion to helping to heal others.
The selected Research Fellow to lead this endeavor is a Dane, Morten Kringlebach, who is a mathematician and neuroscientist and very interested in Jungian theory. He will be focusing on trauma with a view to Jung’s theory of complexes— he feels both react in the brain in similar ways. I hope this research sparks new paths forward for all of us as Jungian healers.
