Sivanie Shiran

Sivanie Shiran is a Psychologist and Jungian Analyst. She received her training in Clinical Psychology at Johns Hopkins University (B.A.)
in the United States and at Bar-Ilan University (M.A.) in Israel.

While living in Switzerland she also completed her training as a Jungian analyst at the C.G. Jung Institute (Zürich). Her thesis for the Zurich
Institute focused on individual and collectives meanings of the home archetype. Her doctoral research, which she is currently completing at Haifa
University, also focuses on individual differences in the way people affectively attach to their homes, the meanings them attribute to them, as well
the way in which they experience and cope with relocation.

Her other areas of interest include leadership and team development, covert processes in organizational life and the promotion of individual
growth. She has worked with a wide range of analysands – including expatriates, college students and geriatric in-patients.

As an Organizational Consultant she has worked with multi-national companies in different regions, specializing in the areas of
individual coaching and team leadership development. As a Consultant for Personnel Decisions International (PDI) in France,
Ms. Shiran designed and conducted pan-European programs geared to address key challenges in global Human Resources
management. At the Harvard Business School Ms. Shiran headed International Career Services and at she continues to work as an Organizational
Consultant in the executive education programs at IMD.

She currently resides with her family in New York City
